Sandrine Dixson-Declève is an internationally renowned climate and sustainability expert, recognised for her leadership on environmental policy, green finance and systemic change. She is currently Co-President of the global Earth4All initiative and served as Co-President of the Club of Rome from 2018 to 2024 – the first woman to lead the organisation alongside Mamphela Ramphele. A passionate advocate for a well-being economy and planetary resilience, Sandrine is a frequent keynote speaker at high-level forums including TED Countdown and TEDx, and co-author of the influential book "Earth for All: A Survival Guide for Humanity". She has played a pivotal role in shaping global sustainability agendas, notably through the Planetary Emergency Plan 1.0 and 2.0, and has contributed to key strategic reports such as "A System Change Compass: Implementing the European Green Deal", and "21st Century Wellbeing Economics". Her work bridges science, policy and business to drive transformation across sectors. Sandrine has held senior leadership roles including Executive Director of the Green Growth Platform, Director of the Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group, and Head of the Brussels Office at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. She has advised European Commission presidents, governments, international organisations (including the UN, OECD, UNEP, IEA, USAID) and major global corporations. She currently chairs the European Commission’s Expert Group on the Economic and Societal Impact of Research and Innovation (ESIR) and sits on the boards of Climate KIC, Laudes Foundation, EDP, BMW, UCB, and others. She is a Senior Associate at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, a fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science, and Ambassador for the Energy Transitions Commission. Sandrine is the co-founder of WECAN – Women Enablers Change Agent Network, a cross-sectoral platform for female leadership. She lives in Belgium, speaks fluent English and French, and is a mother of two daughters, Zoë and Tessa.
