Professor Dr. Eng. Ivaylo Ganev

Professor of Energy conversion technologies. Graduated in Thermal Power Engineering and Nuclear Power Engineering. His professional career is in this field. A significant portion of his teaching and scientific career after 1991 was dedicated to the training of personnel for the nuclear power plant in Kozloduy. He served as a long-time director of the Technical College at the Technical University of Sofia and is the Chairman of the General Assembly of the College. The institution primarily trains students in the field of nuclear power engineering at the educational facilities of TU as well as in Kozloduy NPP. Professor Ganev has participated in numerous joint projects between Kozloduy NPP and the Technical University of Sofia. In addition to his expertise in the field of nuclear energy, he has led a number of unique projects in Bulgaria aimed at obtaining energy from renewable sources. He is the author of over 100 publications, books and conference papers.
