Nadya Dankinova has served as an Executive Director of Fund FLAG since 2011. The Fund is a
state financial instrument for regional development, established to support the implementation of
infrastructure projects by local authorities. Over the years, FLAG has positioned itself as a key
financial partner for Bulgarian municipalities in advancing sustainable urban and regional
development.
Nadya Dankinova holds a Master’s degree in Social and Economic Planning and Public Finance
from the University of National and World Economy. Her public sector career includes roles as a
Deputy Regional Governor and Regional Governor of Yambol, as well as a Deputy Mayor of
Yambol Municipality. She is an active participant in expert working groups on financial
decentralization, municipal finance, strategic development, and the management of EU-funded
projects.
