Monica Dimitrova

Monika Dimitrova is an experienced consultant in securing EU funding for deep tech innovation in areas such as artificial intelligence, optical technologies, sustainability, and energy. As head of the Bulgarian branch of the international consultancy EurA, Monika's main focus is on building bridges between Bulgaria and Germany, fostering collaboration between SMEs and scientific institutions to develop and fund innovative projects. Monika is the co-founder of VODORASLO, an innovative start-up that has developed the first biological air purifier in Bulgaria, using a specific strain of microalgae combined with a nano filter mesh for better indoor air quality. The company has been awarded the Innovative Company prize from the Big Small competition in 2023, as well as Best Youth Startup in 2022.
