Mihai Tudorancea

Mihai is a seasoned professional in the field of financial management, with over 20 years’ expertise in the public sector. As the founder of TUD Group, Mihai has led the company to become one of the major local advisory groups in Romania, providing financial services to public entities. He has also expanded the organization’s know-how by establishing a team of technical advisors focused on providing energy efficiency solutions and a software company that develops solutions contributing to eliminate red-tape, increase transparency and digitalize processes implemented by central and local governments. Starting back 17 years ago, working alongside international financial institutions and local banks, Mihai has managed to innovate and have a pivotal role in setting up energy efficiency programs for both residential and public buildings. In Bucharest, TUD Group has facilitated the retrofitting of over 1,700 buildings for Energy Efficiency purposes – projects that were worth more than 800 million Euro. In recent years, the team managed to successfully implement an ELENA project for public buildings in Sector 6 of Bucharest, where 12 public buildings have been retrofitted to reach energy efficiency and 8 nZEB units have been built from scratch.
