Konstantinos Xifaras serves as the Chief Executive Officer of DEPA Commercial S.A., a leading Greek energy company specializing in the trade of natural gas and electricity. Appointed in September 2019, he led the restructuring of DEPA into three separate entities: DEPA Commercial, DEPA Infrastructure, and DEPA International Projects, successfully preparing the company for privatization. ​ Under his leadership, DEPA Commercial transformed into an integrated energy company, expanding its activities into renewable energy sources, including the acquisition of a 49% stake in North Solar. The company also invested in alternative fuels such as hydrogen and biomethane and expanded its network of compressed natural gas (CNG) stations under the FISIKON brand. ​ Xifaras has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Prior to DEPA, he served as the CEO of DESFA S.A., where he oversaw significant investments in energy infrastructure, including the construction of a third LNG tank at Revithoussa and 238 km of high-pressure gas pipelines. ​ He holds a degree in Production Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Crete, specializing in Operational Research. Xifaras also holds leadership positions in the Technical Chamber of Greece and serves on the Governing Board of Eurogas. ​
