Konstantin Haralampiev

Konstantin Haralampiev is one of the founders of the company "Agrovar CC" OOD, whose goal is to offer innovative solutions for regenerative agriculture through a software platform with automation of agronomic processes and comprehensive technologies for agriculture. Konstantin is from Plovdiv and has been attracted to Economics and exact sciences since his high school years. In 2004, he graduated from the National Commercial High School and the same year he left for London to continue his economic education. In 2009, he graduated with a master's degree in Finance at "City of London College" and specialized in management and trading of derivatives and other financial instruments. His interest in carbon markets deepened already in 2012, when, due to the extreme interest, many multinational companies, institutions and governments were directed to the free markets of carbon emissions. Then begins the period for creating regulations in the area, especially with the increased production of energy from renewable sources. Serious foundations are also being laid for the regulated certification of carbon certificates from afforestation. In 2018, Konstantin Haralampiev returned to Bulgaria to create his own business and apply the acquired know-how, being convinced that Bulgaria is the right place to continue his business development. Then, for the first time, he was faced with the real financial dimensions of the negatives that abrupt climate change brings with it. He began to think about how to create a business that is sustainable and has a positive effect on the environment, and what models of promotion would make more businesses think about their effect on it.
