Ivan Andreev is the Chief Executive Officer of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant – Bulgaria’s only operating nuclear facility and a cornerstone of the country’s energy security and low-carbon electricity generation. A seasoned professional in the nuclear energy sector, Mr. Andreev leads the plant at a time of strategic development, technological upgrades, and preparations for the expansion of Bulgaria’s nuclear capacity. Throughout his career, Ivan Andreev has held a range of technical and managerial roles within Kozloduy NPP, contributing to the plant’s safety, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. Under his leadership, the company is advancing major modernization programs, extending the operational life of existing reactors, and supporting national efforts to ensure a secure and diversified energy future through new nuclear projects.
