Iliana Andronova

Iliana Andronova is Deputy Head of Strategic Development and Green Policies at the Bulgarian Development Bank. She has 10 years of experience in credit risk management in commercial banks, and since 2019 has held the positions of Corporate Relations Manager, Strategic Development Analyst and Head of Sustainable Finance and Product Development at the Bulgarian Development Bank. As Deputy Head of Strategic Development and Green Policies (from 2023), she supports the Development Bank in the processes of implementing ESG assessment and reporting and the sustainable finance framework. Iliana Andronova holds a PhD in Finance and Banking from the UNWE with the dissertation topic : Status and problems of banking intermediation in the absorption of EU funds in Bulgaria. She has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and as a second major in International Economic Relations from UNWE and a Master's degree in Financial Management. She graduated from a German language school and is fluent in German and English.
