Eng. Iliyan Terziev

Eng. Iliyan Terziev is a highly respected figure in the Bulgarian construction sector, with decades of professional experience and a strong record of leadership in industry development. Since 2018, he has served as Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber (BCC) and was re-elected in 2022 with unanimous support.
He graduated from the Hristo Botev Construction Technical School in Sofia with a focus on Architecture and Construction, and later completed a Master's degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering at the Higher National Military Construction University "Gen. Blagoi Ivanov". He also undertook advanced training at the G. S. Rakovski Military Academy, contributing to his strategic and results-oriented leadership style.
His professional journey began in the structure of the Military Construction Directorate, and in 1990 he co-founded one of Bulgaria’s first private construction firms – Angelov – Terziev Engineering Ltd., later renamed AT Engineering 2000 Ltd. Under his management, the company completed numerous large-scale industrial, residential and public infrastructure projects across the country.
Prior to leading the BCC, Eng. Terziev served as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and as Head of the Sofia Regional Representation of the Chamber. Since 2018, he has also been a Member of the Board of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB).
His civic and social engagement includes being a Board Member of the Bulgarian Tennis Federation, as well as a Trustee at the Sofia High School of Construction, Architecture and Geodesy “Hristo Botev”.
