Ekaterina Velkova

Ekaterina Velkova is a managing partner at Morningside Hill Capital Management, a venture capital fund based in Bulgaria. Ms. Velkova has more than 14 years of experience in investments, fundraising for investment funds and consulting for NGOs, IGOs, NFPs & government agencies in the US, Africa and Europe. She has significant international experience in both direct investment and fundraising for investment funds and non-governmental organizations, where she has held various consulting and management positions. Ms. Velkova has substantial private equity deal sourcing & structuring expertise. Previously, she held a senior management position at a hedge fund where she sourced and raised private capital. Ms. Velkova holds an M.A. degree from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and a B.A. from the American University in Bulgaria.
