Dr. Petar Tsankov

Dr. Petar Tsankov is an award-winning AI researcher and entrepreneur. He obtained his BSc degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech in the U.S., winning the Best Student in Computer Science Award. He then completed his PhD and postdoc studies at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, where he worked with Prof. Martin Vechev, the founder and scientific director of INSAIT. Petar’s research has made major contributions to the security and safety of AI systems. He is the recipient of the John Atanasoff Prize, awarded by the President of Bulgaria. Petar has co-founded ChainSecurity, a global leader in smart contract security, which was acquired by PwC in 2020. He co-founded and is currently the CEO of LatticeFlow AI, a deep-tech AI company that has developed the first platform for next-generation safe and trustworthy AI. Its customers include the US Army, the Singaporean defense, Siemens, and numerous Fortune 500 companies. LatticeFlow AI has raised $15 million from leading US and European deep tech investors and has won several awards, including becoming the #1 Swiss AI company in 2022 and winning the US Army Global AI Award in 2021. The company was also featured twice on the prestigious CB Insights AI100 List of Most Innovative AI Companies in 2022 and 2023.
